Keep your pieces shining

A little care keeps plated and stainless steel jewelry looking its best for longer.

Last on, first off. Put earrings on after lotion, perfume and hairspray, and take them off before showering, swimming or working out.
Wipe after wearing. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and moisture.
Store separately. Keep each pair in a pouch or a lined dish so pieces don't scratch each other.
Skip harsh cleaners. Avoid chemical dips and abrasive polish on plated pieces. Mild soap, water and a quick dry is enough.
Keep them dry. Store away from humid bathrooms to slow tarnishing.
